Happy New Year all! I hope everyone had a blessed and relaxing holiday season! It is so hard to that we are in the year of 2019 and almost at the half mark of school!
I want to wish Connor Smith and his family good luck with their next adventures. Connor moved to Virginia over the break. He will be truly missed!!
I would also like to congratulate both Matthew Quinn and Carson McGuigan on becoming big brothers over the break! Matthew welcomed a baby brother and Carson welcomed baby sister- what miracles!
This is a short week with no spelling or tests! Next week we will begin with 13 spelling words and work our way up to 15 spelling words. We will also be writing 7 spelling sentences for Wednesday night homework. January book reports will be coming home tomorrow! January Book Report will be due Jan. 31st.
This month we will be focusing and learning about Reconciliation. I will be sending home a laminated copy of the Act of Contrition. We will be practicing this prayer at school, but please practice at home as well. Please refer to your Sacramental Calendar that was sent home at the beginning of the year for dates/times regarding meetings and workshops. Please let me know if you need another copy.
I hope everyone has had a wonderful start to their new year!
