8th Grade Homeroom
Kona Ice fundraiser sheet is going home today.
8th Grade will be going to Mt. Vernon on Dec. 13th. Mr. DeMauro and I will be the teachers accompanying them. Forms are going home today. Please send back with money ASAP. If you are interested in chaperoning and are an approved volunteer for SJS, you may send in money for yourself as well. It is going to be so much fun and I am so excited that Mt. Vernon will be decorated for Christmas!!!!!
The Confirmation Retreat will be March 25th and 26th. More details to come.
8th Grade’s last day of school will be Thursday, May 30th. Graduation will be on Monday, June 3rd.
I have created a Facebook group for our class. It is a closed group where I will post pictures of the fun things we are doing at school. If you would like to join the group, please look for Mrs. Engel’s 8th Grade. This is just for parents/guardians.
6th Grade:Reading: Part 7 in Wonder, English: Choose 3 topics from the list you were given in class today and write a 6-8 sentence paragraph for each using the Topic and Concluding Sentence skills you have just learned. Please be sure to look at your notes.
7th Grade: Finish reading The Magician’s Nephew!
Finish the “planning your writing” sheets you received in class.
