-2018 SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION FOR EIGHTH (8TH) GRADE STUDENTS: The Lucinda L. Jasper Scholarship Fund, Inc. (LLJSF) announces the 2018 Scholarship Competition.  The LLJSF Competition is open to all eighth grade students attending a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Washington D.C. who are attending a Catholic high school in the fall in the Archdiocese of

Washington D.C.

Interested students can apply online at http://www.lljsf.org/.  Students must complete an application form, write a 1500-2500 word essay, provide one teacher recommendation and have the principal submit a school report.  Details on the essay submission can be found at the website, http://www.lljsf.org/.  Submissions are accepted ONLY online and are due by March 31, 2018.

Friday was the deadline to change your book for your AR project if you wanted to.  No new books will be approved.

8th Grade:  Finish reading Across Five Aprils Chapter 6 and write your journal entry FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF JETHRO.  Finish THE

Lesson 15 vocab workbook will be do on Friday, 2/16 and the  quiz will be Tuesday, 2/20.  Please be researching for your Trip of a Lifetime project.  Research is due on February 23rd.

7th Grade:If you have not finished your in class research for your Author Study research paper during the time given in class, you will need to finish this at home by Monday.

6th Grade: Finish your “Acts of Kindess are Good for the Soul” graphic organizer and write your 6-8 sentence summary paragraph.
