-2018 SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION FOR EIGHTH (8TH) GRADE STUDENTS: The Lucinda L. Jasper Scholarship Fund, Inc. (LLJSF) announces the 2018 Scholarship Competition.  The LLJSF Competition is open to all eighth grade students attending a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Washington D.C. who are attending a Catholic high school in the fall in the Archdiocese of

Washington D.C.

Interested students can apply online at http://www.lljsf.org/.  Students must complete an application form, write a 1500-2500 word essay, provide one teacher recommendation and have the principal submit a school report.  Details on the essay submission can be found at the website, http://www.lljsf.org/.  Submissions are accepted ONLY online and are due by March 31, 2018.

-8th Grade Graduation will be Tuesday, June5, 2018 at 6:30 in the church with a reception immediately following in the MHC.

8th:Please have Chapter 4 if Across 5 Aprils for Monday. Make sure you do the journal entry (!!!) FROM JETHRO’S POINT OF VIEW, NOT YOURS for chapter 4.  Due tomorrow.  Vocabulary Chapter 13 quiz on Monday. 

7th Grade: Please read pages 41-60 in Zlata’s Diary for tomorrow.  For English complete the Grammar Ninja worksheet..both sides…commas with compound sentences and commas with introductory information.  Due tomorrow.

6th Grade: Please read chapters 12 and 13 in Pay it Forward for tomorrow.
