Tomorrow at 1:00 in the MHC, student council candidates will be presenting their speeches with the election immediately following. All parents are welcome to attend if you are interested.
8th Grade:
Due: Tuesday, October 31st
Create a brand new holiday with its own traditions, rituals, foods and activities
Please be sure to use 12 point font, double spaced and it must be 3 pages. If you write 5 solid paragraphs, you will have 3 pages easily! One page is ~250 words so in reality, you are only writing a 750 word essay.
Due Thursday: Chapters 9 and 10 in A Single Bead need to be read.
Due Monday: Lesson 5 workbook pages and spelling/vocab test will be given
Due Monday: 15 character trait activity
7th Grade:
Due: Tuesday, October 31st
Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” Write a narrative about a time when you did something you thought you could not do. Be sure to include specific details so that a reader can follow your story.
Please be sure to use 12 point font, double spaced and it must be 2 pages. If you write a solid 5 paragraphs, you will have more than that! One page is ~250 words so in reality, you are only writing a 500 word essay.
For Tuesday: Please have through Chapter 9 read in 7 Riddles to Nowhere.
6th Grade: I do not see 6th grade on Wednesday’s 🙂
