Happy feast of St. Joseph! Let’s turn to St. Joseph’s during this time. My children and I say this prayer every day. St. Joseph was the foster father of Jesus and our foster father too! He was a great carpenter. Let’s ask for his intercession to “build” us up during our time of need.

“O Saint Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires.””O Saint Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most Loving of Fathers.””O Saint Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss his fine head for me and ask him to return the Kiss when I draw my dying breath.””Saint Joseph, Patron of departed souls – pray for me. (Mention your intention) Amen.”

Today’s work!

  • Math – I realize that everyone is working at a different pace on zearn.org. With that being said, math homework every day will be to spend 30 minutes on Zearn. I am still navigating the site. I did assign a subject yesterday, but it seems as though students can work beyond required content. 30 minutes a day will get everyone in a nice math routine. Please don’t turn it off right at 30. Finish the mini lesson you are on before you do that.
  • Spelling – Do pg. 3 and 4 of Lesson 26
  • There will be a new assignment at the end of today’s reading of Chapter 4! Stay tuned and watch the video for that!
