Kindergarten- Week 15!

Nick is our Faithful Friend this week!

If you’ve signed up to purchase an item for the Christmas Child, please bring it in on or before December 20th.

Tuesday, December 12th is a VERY special day for all of SJS! We will have Advent Lessons and Carols in the MHC beginning at 630. Please have your child present to their classrooms by 615 on Tuesday evening.

ALSO- This Thursday, we will watching The Polar Express! Please dress your child in PJ’s (no slippers), and have them bring in cookies to share. Next Thursday after the Para-Liturgy, we will have a cookie social! Please bring in 2 dozens cookies next Tuesday/Wednesday.

Math- This week in math we will be discussing graphs, and reviewing what we have learned thus far with analog clocks. Also, solving a problem by acting it out, and paying for things using pennies.

Reading- We are finishing the unit on our Superkid “Lily” this week, and will be introducing our Superkid Icky!

Science- Nick is our scientist this week! Our Scientist of the Week will come in and perform an experiment (practiced at home prior) in front of the whole class!

Religion- The students will be adding the 2nd candle to their Advent wreaths, and we will be discussing what Advent means and why this time of the year is so special.
